Ruby Award honors Women helping Women
WOA supports single women, heads of household, improving their lives thru education
Violet Richardson honors young women who seek to make the world a better place thru their volunteer activities
Graduate Fellowship Award supports women in Post Graduate studies
The Soroptimist International Mission is to improve the lives of women and girls locally and globally.

To that end, the 6 clubs of the Rogue Valley raise funds throughout the year to support their many service projects, awards, and scholarships. Every fall, we work in concert to find qualified applicants for the following awards:
  • Ruby Award, honoring women who Make a Difference in our community;
  • WOA, Women's Opportunity Award, supporting single women, heads of household, seeking to improve their life thru education;
  • Violet Richardson Award, recognizing the volunteer efforts of young women who seek to change the world;
  • Graduate Fellowship Award, supporting post-graduate studies of a local woman.
Winners of our local awards qualify for consideration of additional awards at the Regional and Federation level.

The images to the left link to pages having additional information for each award, including applications and contact information for 2011 -- awards to be granted in 2012.
