Soroptimist International of
River Valley sponsors 4 fundraisers throughout
the year. The earnings are then distributed in the Grants Pass
area to
organizations that improve the lives of women and
girls. This
year we raised and gave away $6,000 to the charities and
projects listed below.
This year our club "adopted" three local deserving families to help make their Christmases a little better. The club gave each a gift certificate for food items. The rest of the gifts were given to each of the family members, according to what they requested, and were donated by individual members. What a great feeling to be giving to those who need it!
As you can see below, we even had the help of two elves to help us deliver the gifts.
