Venture is a volunteer service organization that is sponsored by Soroptimist International, for young business women. The Venture Club of Medford has members between the ages of 18 and 40. Some of our members are just entering the work force, are college students, have young children, or are single.All of us have a desire to help raise needed funds or volunteer time for various women and children projects within the community.
Some of the organizations that have benefited from our help are: Kids Konnected, Kids Spree, SMART, Dunn House, Easter Seals, Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill, and our Disabled Student Aid Award. At times, volunteering can mean work, but when all of us work together, the load is not as heavy.The rewards of membership are many: , fullfilment, networking, understanding, betterment and friendship.
